Joseph Uwazota, M.D.

Medical School:  Lagos University
Residency: WellSpan York Hospital

Dr. Uwazota is a graduate of Lagos University. He completed a graduate program at Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health and an Internship program at University College Hospital. After completing his residency at WellSpan York Hospital Family Medicine Residency, Dr. Uwazota joined the faculty of the program. He chose to pursue a career in medicine to help people and give them hope. He realized from a young age that he had a love for people and an interest in improving the quality of their lives as they struggled with illness.
