Dr. Maxwell is a Towson University graduate and attended medical school at University of Maryland. She joined WellSpan for her residency at York Hospital Family Medicine. After residency, Dr. Maxwell joined WellSpan's Stonebridge practice. In 2023, Dr. Maxwell returned to Thomas Hart and the residency program as the clinical faculty. Medicine is such an exciting, interesting, challenging an ever-changing field, but it is only part of why she chose to become a physician. As a family medicine doctor, she is able to get to know her patients and be an advocate for them. She enjoys getting to know new people and being able to help them lead healthy lives. She loves to continually learn new information to be able to better serve her patients.
