Dr. Bushwick is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He received his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency in family practice at the York Hospital. He is board certified in family practice and geriatrics. After several years in private practice, he joined the residency program full time in 1987. Dr. Bushwick completed a faculty development fellowship in Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He is a graduate of the National Institute for Program Director Development Fellowship and has interests medical ethics, evidence based medicine and in computer applications in medicine and end-of-life care.
