Michelle Cantwell, D.M.D., is a prosthodontist for WellSpan Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine and WellSpan Health York Hospital Dental Center General Practice Residency. Her practice is limited to Dental Sleep Medicine. She received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Wilkes University. Dr. Cantwell graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine in 1998; staying to complete a 3-year residency in Prosthodontics in 2001. She received a Naval Scholarship and served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Naval Dental Corps at Navy Dental Center Mid-Atlantic in Norfolk, VA. She completed her boards in Dental Sleep Medicine through the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and is serving her second term on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She co-authored Dental Sleep Medicine Standards for Screening, Treating, and Managing Adults with Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders in 2018 and is currently the Co-Chairman of the AADSM’s Mastery Program.
