Why did I choose York Hospital's residency program?

Dr. Lynn McGowan is our inaugural Emergency Medicine Medical Education fellow. She is a graduate from the WellSpan York Hospital Emergency Medicine residency program. Before attending medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) she worked for Teach for America. She has always had a passion for teaching and education which she demonstrated throughout residency and as a chief resident (education chief). Her area of expertise and focus during her medical education fellowship is simulation.
